Lesson 1, Topic 1
In Progress

My Journey Backpack

We use the metaphor of a Journey Backpack to describe the thoughts, beliefs and feelings we would like you to consciously connect with when engaging with the content of this course.

This refers to the way you think about yourself as well as the course content.

What do you need to pack in your Journey Backpack?

The following are ways of thinking and approaching this course and your experience of it that we believe will help you to get the most from it.

No Judgement

There is no right or wrong here. No thought is better or worse than any other. No choice is the right or wrong choice. Simply observe, and try to see the facts of your thoughts and experiences, suspending your judgement of them.

Everything is OK. You are safe. There is no threat to your physical, mental, emotional or spiritual self in this space.

Be Curious

Curiosity opens up our minds and allows us to learn and grow. Asking questions is a great way to be curious. You can ask yourself why something is happening or wonder what is going on? Ask why? What is this about? What does this mean to me? How can I apply this in my Life?

Ask Questions

We love questions! Questions help us be curious, and questions help us uncover new ways of thinking that we might not have been able to access before.

There are no stupid questions, ever! If you get stuck at any point, please reach out and ask for clarity or help. Use the community forums and ask other freedom adventurers, or email or connect with us directly via info@myjourney2freedom.com.

Your Information is Sacred

Anything you share on this platform through engagement with the self-learning part of the course, or with our Programme Facilitators in an individual session, is private and confidential and will not be shared with anyone else.

When you share in the community either on the platform in the forums or during the group video calls we ask that you respect your peers and agree to keep their information confidential, just as we are asking them to keep your sharing safe.

The bottom line is that we will not share any information you share with us with anyone else, without your explicit consent. You can find a link to our Privacy Policy in the footer of this site too.

Respect Each Other in Group Spaces

We ask that you engage kindly and with the awareness that we are each on our own individual journey and that your journey will look different to another’s. We therefore ask that when engaging on the platform in the community forums or during the group video calls you allow others to speak without interrupting, and respond thoughtfully and kindly.
